A few photos of our halloween display 2011 style (click on them to enlarge if you want to)
The front garden
the zombie with the white head is moving to "get out of the ground"
our zombie that moves up and down out of the box
front garden at night
To the right of the front garden
our witch (mechanically stirring the coffin) and our Toxic man who is spitting out "blood"
then as you walk towards the door, you have to go into our "terror tunnel" which is pitch black on a night
The daylight you can see is closed off and fog sprayed into the tunnel, complete with horror sounds
behind the skeleton is a favoured place to jump out at those who are nervous
hiding behind these two, just to the right is also a good spot, but people seemed too scared to come in after they had been scared
just behind the skeleton is our werewolf. this is motion sensored to move in and out and growling.
this is very popular and everyone seems to like it, and it gets many screams!!!
finally as the brave souls who dare come in to the tunnel they get to meet these 3 and our cobweb skeleton
my friend was hiding in the tunnel waiting for people. most thought he was scary when he jumped out on them from the dark (and sometimes chased them), but he isn't even wearing a mask so he can't be that scary........
To the left of the tunnel as you approach it is our ghost in its own home
our flying crank ghost in the daytime
and now at night (this ghost moves in a haunted way)
yes, that is me on the left, but i had to give this up as the little children (and most of the big kids / adults) were absolutely terrified of me
some people did not realise that i was real......
and finally our halloween tree!!!!
also a short, but a bit poor quality due to the night setting, but is shows the ghost quite well, and how dark it is for the others.......
269 trick or treaters braved the above, but there were many more who were too afraid to put a foot in the garden!!!!
